Verified profiles, not a fake live wall
Names, countries and images below come from matching verified member records. The “featured” label is deliberate: current availability belongs in the app, where it can change in real time.
Three different signals people often confuse
1. A verified profile
Verification tells you that a platform performed a check associated with the profile. It is useful, but it is not a background check and it does not prove every claim a person makes. The Australian eSafety Commissioner makes the same distinction: photo verification may confirm that a picture matches a user, not that every identity detail is true.
2. A recent presence indicator
An online signal is a snapshot. Between seeing a profile and tapping it, the member might close the app, enter another call, lose connectivity, or choose not to answer. Good product copy should explain this instead of turning a changing state into a permanent promise.
3. A connected two-way call
A live conversation begins only after both sides connect. Your browser must request camera and microphone permission first. You can deny that request, revoke it later in browser settings, mute yourself, or leave the conversation. Use a 30-second safety check
- Check the price. Joining and browsing are free; live video uses coins. Read the amount displayed before confirming.
- Protect identifying details. Keep your full name, workplace, home address, financial information and passwords private.
- Keep control of your camera. Frame out documents, family photos and anything that reveals your exact location.
- Know the exit. Locate mute, leave, block and report controls before you need them.
- Never send money to a stranger. An urgent request for gift cards, cryptocurrency or a transfer is a classic fraud warning.
An online indicator never means someone owes you a reply, a call, personal information or continued contact. Either person can stop at any time.
